Welcome

Come along on our journey of creation and exploration

“One’s destination is never a place, but a new way of seeing things.”

Henry Miller

Welcome to our online home. We’re glad you’ve come for a visit.

If you’re here to check out different ways to make art, or maybe looking for a good book to try, you are in the right place. Reading and Art are two things the Everyday Sisters love.

But maybe you find yourself here, not for anything in particular, but because something we posted somewhere resonated with you. If that’s the case, we call that the Woo-niverse in action. If you check there, you might find something else to add to your journey.

Lastly, because we love the world and all the crazy, spectacular things other people do and make, we also want to share those with you. For the interesting finds we are celebrating, check out Have you seen this?

Stay as long as you like, strike up a conversation, and visit again, as often as you can.

I originally read these in 2013 after reading another trilogy in the world that precedes these chronologically. I was head-over-heels for that series and I was looking for more…

Clothespin magnets

In our school district, starting middle school (6th grade) is kind of a right of passage. The kids go from minor movement around the school to a full complement of classes in different rooms, a different teacher for each subject, and a locker to stop by in between so they don’t have to carry everything.…

Decoupage Cans

So a couple of years ago one of my girlfriends from the Northeast started offering beautiful decoupage shells in her Etsy shop (Coral Door Designs is her shop). Sarah has always been so talented and her pieces that she offers speak to her dedication to her craft. I fell so in love with them that…

Nightwork

Nightwork by Nora RobertsA book summary is below the review. I had this book on hold at the library for months, patiently waiting for my turn with Roberts’ latest one-off novel. (If you’re new here, I read just about everything she writes.) I was not disappointed. First off, she gave us a fun morally grey…
